The third installment of Shrek, “Shrek: The Third” was a great movie. Expect your ribs to get sore because you will be laughing a lot through out the entire movie. I don’t want to comment on how well the animation was because it’s getting to the point now that they can practically do anything with computer animations these days, so commenting on that sort of thing these days is kind of pointless, unless it was poorly done that is.

In this third part of the Shrek series, we will see a little more of the personal side of all the characters of “Far Far Away”. Donkey has a.. err.. litter? Puss N’ Boots has a harem, and Shek and Fiona are expecting.

The evil villains also have created their own world of sorts, specifically Charming. And that’s pretty much how the story begins.

When his new father-in-law, King Harold falls ill, Shrek is looked at as the heir to the land of Far, Far Away. Not one to give up his beloved swamp, Shrek recruits his friends Donkey and Puss in Boots to install the rebellious Artie as the new king. Princess Fiona, however, rallies a band of royal girlfriends to fend off a coup d’etat by the jilted Prince Charming.

I’ve put together a clip of one of my favorite scenes; even though there are many, this is the one that got the part I guess.

To sum things up here, I highly recommend this movie for all of your family if you have one, but it’s also a great movie to watch with a friend. You’ll especially like it if you enjoy the Shrek Trilogy.
