LOST

LOST

So did the two hour season finale swing you around like a yo-yo like it did to me? I have to admit, that it was a bit confusing through out the entire episode.

I held off posting this one in case some folks haven’t seen the season finale yet. But if you still haven’t you might want to come back here after you have watched it. And then you can join in on a discussion on the show.

There were so many questions that were going through my mind that I didn’t know what to think, but at the end I sort of (Kinda’) figured out what was going on.

Questions that ran through my mind while watching were things like; what’s with Jacks flashbacks? All they did was confuse me. What was in the newspaper clipping he ripped out of the news paper?

And the mind boggling went on with more questions like who was in the coffin in the empty funeral home? It also seems that Ben is the type of guy who likes a lot of pain because it seems like he constantly getting the crap punched out of him all the time and he likes it.

I felt sorry for Hurley the past couple of episodes because he kept getting rejected by his fellow castaways because of his big size. He kept trying to volunteer and help out all the time but everybody kept pointing out that he was to big and would end up a hindrance than he would be a helper. But he ends up saving the day with his Van and saving the lives of three of his captive friends.

It was sad to see Charlie drown, even though he knew it was going to happen, but he was the comedic relief of the show. Hopefully he’ll pop up again in the show since Mr. Eye-patch-guy seems to come back to life all the time.

So do you think Ben was telling the truth about the Parachuting Lady and that the rescue ship would end up killing everybody on the island? Wasn’t there an episode that had Ben say that he never tells a lie, and that he is in fact telling the truth about the rescue ship? But you know what they say about a liar, they never tell the truth so if he says he never lies, is he lying?

Another thing that threw me off was Desmond’s girl Penny. What was she doing on the video phone if she wasn’t on the rescue ship, and why would she be contacting the underwater station? Why would she have picked up the signal from the station if she wasn’t really looking for them? I think she’s part of ‘The Others’ organization, or is part of the Darma Team.

I also thought the tone of voice was a bit suspicious when the ship answered Jack on the Satellite Phone. He seems kind of paranoid when he said, “Who are you and how did you get this transmission?” Was it actually the rescue ship, or was it another group of ‘The Others’ or was it another Darma Station?

This whole show is nothing but one question after another and very few answers. I guess that’s what draws me to it so much. And that leaves me with the biggest questions of the finale when we get to the end of the show.

When I saw Kate arrive near the airport where Jack was waiting for her, I got completely confused. I guess all those flashbacks from Jack weren’t flashbacks after all. It seems they were rescued! But bye whom?

The way the conversation went with Kate and Jack made it sound like something bad happened during the rescue and Jack wants to go back to the island. Did Jack and Kate strike a deal with Ben? Jack mentions something about making a mistake and he’s tired of lying. Then Kate said the common line you would usually hear from ‘The Others’ which was, “I have to go ‘He’s’ going to be wondering where I am.” Then Jack replies by saying, “We were not supposed to leave.”

So I think that Jack, Kate, and Ben made it off the island only and the rest of the castaways are still on the island. Maybe?

This whole show is very confusing sometimes. So hopefully with the next season they will go right into explaining what the heck we just watched. Pfffft! Yea riiiight, when has the show ever done that? We’ll get the answers at the end of next season probably. LOL

Here’s to another great season of LOST!

Cheers!

They may have been rescued. But they did not go back to the same reality they left. Jake twice mention his dad. 1st for prescription. 2nd to other docter. “Why don’t you go up see who’s drunker ” (refering to his dad), him are me. That we know is dead . Reason he was on plane. Was taking his dead father back to US. As who Kate is with simple. The cop , that she didn’t leave in this reality. And Sawyer would have to be dead guy. Everyone else on that island would have had at least 1 person show up other then Jake.

    My 2 cents

I thought they were flash backs too, because of Jack’s father being mention. But when I seen Kate . Ya it was what the fuck.
But Jack saying “We were not supposed to leave.” Made sence .. they were in a differnt reality.. Make sence

The part when Jack asked the other doctor to ask his father if he’s been drinking caught my attention too. You might be on to something there with the reality thing…
