Yes, you read the title of this post correct. Basically what I mean here is, is that you can participate in a contest where you make and direct your own commercial and then after you submit your work, I and millions of other people from around the world will vote by rating your video when it is displayed on the NBC Web Site for the Dockers contest.

At the moment there aren’t very many submissions right now, so your chances of winning are really good at the moment. So by making your commercial and getting it submitted sooner just means more folks will be viewing yours more than the later submissions. That’ll end up meaning more votes in the long run. So far the only one I really like is the Jay Leno one.

So go do what you have to. Go to Dockers and get some duds to show off in your commercial. Show them off the best way you can.

When you have completed your commercial just head on over to the Dockers contest and submit it. That’s all you have to do. Then just leave the rest to the rest of the world and myself.

Before you start creating your work, just make sure you goto the Dockers contest page and download the files that they want you to use. It’s basically a music track and a bit of video. So actually you don’t have to worry about finding music and additional video footage, how easy is that huh?

Also it would be really awesome if you left a comment here letting us all know that you have submitted a commercial so we can all go see.

Wouldn’t is be great if there were more contests like this? This one is going to be pretty fun, I hope. I’m going to give it a shot and see, and so should you.
